In short, the planner allowed core Campbell’s team members to make unilateral changes in pricing and product for both salespeople and distributors nationwide. The project began with intricate specification analysis and end user planning to accommodate very mature and detailed sales processes. The fact that the planner was meant to be an internal efficiency tool dictated an intimate understanding of the complicated workflows linking the corporate office with their numerous distribution channels.
Once we developed the system nuts and bolts, LISS needed to develop a functional and intuitive experience for end-users with varying levels of technological experience. In order to facilitate a seamless user experience, LISS took a role from IDEO’s book allowing seamless design to guide the workflow process. The result melded a simple and attractive design framework with a rich and detailed sales tool that increased Campbell’s efficiency on a national scale and increased their long-term ROI.
